Has it got heat bent sides or a hollowed out body?
It has a medium sized chamber on the bass side of the strings.

I've done loads of hollow body guitars. Darcy and Cabb's 335s, Lawrence's tele, an early Safon, R4nd0m's Hybrid, a lapsteel, Tsuken's new one, my next bass and several others.

Hands off Hamo. Ez al Mynz

Less than a week now, thanks Adrian
I like your style. If I was to get a Heilo, I'd probably get one very similar to yours but perhaps with a slightly different wiring setup.

I can see your Heilo, Heilo, Heiloooh oh oh...

I think it's supposed to be a pinch harmonic. The whole Zakk thing.

Well having seen photos now of the end result, I'm doing the full-on "excited girl at a Beatles concert" thing: I've added swooning to the squeeeeing

:P

Ok, here it is. Tsuken's new toy and one of the most satisfying guitars I've ever done:

Rio Grande Texas/Buffalo pickups into a master volume and 12-position tone switch and some other controls. That then goes into a Graphtech Acoustiphonic preamp along with the signal from the Graphtech Ghost piezo saddles. About 44,000 tone combinations ranging from pure acoustic to classic hair metal and everything inbetween (or at the same time as required)
Image

Chambered mahogany body, maple top, rosewood neck, rosewood fretboard, Wizard 2 neck profile, 25.5" scale etc. Despite being almost LP thickness it weighs about the same as any sane guitar.
Image

Yep, there is is again. Gotoh tuners, graphtech nut, EB 9-42 strings. The finish is a gloss blue-burst on top, satin natural lacquer on the back/sides and oiled neck.
Image

12th-fret inlay. Prizes for working it out without prior knowledge.
Image

Switching map. Bam-bam bypasses all the other controls and sends the bridge humbucker directly out at full steam.
Image

Look into the belly of the beast. Preamp at the top, tone-switch at the bottom with loads of capacitors hanging off it.

That's awesome. What body shape is that, it seems different from the outward-pointingness of your Heilo shape? Or is that a Heilo mk. XI or something...
