NPD: And it is...

Post by Benrocky »

A Hotcake!

Amazing amp character retention of the VoxAC4. No tonal camouflage with the Vox "Jangle" still present in nearly all settings. However i find the gain way too fizzy if the level is past 12 and the gain past 3.

Im not finding a good setting for my PRScu22 (too harsh and screechy), although this could be a case of a finicky amp and pedal combination.

But the magic really happens when the G&L ASAT is coupled with the pedal. Level at 12, Presence at 3, and Gain at 1. Lovely lovely overdriven sound, yet still with the Vox jangle.

Big thanks to all the suggestions in the other thread of mine (especially mr_sooty for hooking me up).

One happy pedal owner :D

Nice stuff dude, good choice 8) I found the same thing with the fizzyness at higher gain settings (mainly my amp probably), but it does indeed do a lovely medium-gain sound.

Soon to be finding it's way to Pakehendrix in exchange for his Tremor pedal. I've had it for a couple of years, time for a change :)
