Yeah I had a noodle on your bat at one of the first gear fests.... Don't think I have any photos of mine any more :(

Was one of these though. With only one single coil in the neck and a humbucker in bridge iirc.

Supercheap Auto. I've seen them there in the past.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I read this quickly and assumed you were suggesting Super Cheap were selling headless guitars ... Mhmm

They're similar to Northumbrian pipes... but no chanters.

Very pleasant listening. :)

Whenever I think bagpipes...

Thanks!

These are ODD pipes... they're electronic and made by some bloke in Germany. They behave like actual pipes though, which is nice but a bit of a PITA. There's no way to play staccato, for example, because it mimics the behaviour of a bagful of air that needs to empty out.
John (the piper) solved that by adding a volume pedal to his pedalboard.

There's a dial for choosing keys too, but there's no display so whenever we start a song it's always a bit of a gamble. I'm usually in open A though. And its always uh... descant? is that the word? No incidental sharps or flats.

More of a ‘tell’ than ‘show’ us your gig.

I sat in on lead guitar for a band last night at Tauranga’s crown and badger . First outing for my strat. Mostly songs I’ve only played on bass, so a good test of improvising/ faking it.

I’ve been playing bass for most of the year with little bits of acoustic thrown in. Really fun to get on electric, even if it did feel like my strings were rubber bands and my standard grey Dunlop felt like playing with a bit of paper. (But any harder pick and I was overplaying and it sounded terrible)

My trusty old modded ts9 got banished from the board as the lights made it buzz horribly. Real bummer, it’s been my lead boost for years.

The other guitarist had a bad monkey I borrowed. Hate to say it but so easy to get a great sound.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
