Ok, better late than never! I haven't finished many things this year, but have started lots and have lots of photos... just no time to prepare them for broadcast. I'll carry on from where I left off here:
Ash stuff 2010
Some of you will have seen this one at Gearfests and at the workshop a few times already. Technically it's not finished yet... just needs a few final touches.
Ash Safon Std.
Narra body
Maple/bubinga neck with 24 fret rosewood fretboard (partially scalloped)
Gloss natural lacquer finish
Hipshot hardtail bridge
Hipshot locking tuners
Dimarzio Tonezone and Air Norton pickups
Volume/Tone/5-way switch
More and bigger pics here:

Cool! I love the single neck inlay, a bit different!

Really cool stuff, loved the bevelled guitar at the end of the last thread.
I don't think I can afford to look at any updates to this thread

That guitar is horrible, and I invite no one to buy it, ever.
Hurry the hell up Lotto...
That is in fact the best guitar I have ever played in this, and any other, lives that I have had. Hamoed

I like the idea of minimal inlays, or decorative ones, but I was wondering what's it like playing a guitar with no inlays? I've no idea if I actually use the inlays or rely on looking at the dots on the side of the neck (my playing isn't good enough that I don't catch myself actually looking at my fingers at times).
I noticed looking at Aaron's Jem over the weekend that what I thought originally was an abstract floral pattern to the inlays actually follows the 3/5/7/9/12 etc. location quite clearly, so really clever.

Next gearfest you should have a play on my S420, only has double dot on the 12th, found I just used the side dots instead or guesstimated where the fingers should go

I wouldn't mind knowing either, haha.. correct me if I'm wrong but Adrian said something about them being hard to get so he has stockpiled them for Ash-only guitars.
They're the same type that Ibanez used on their SA series I think.

what have you done with that super cool seafoam green or Daphne Blue one you bought to taranaki gearfest? I think it had the pink pickups, and a maple fretboard on top of a maple neck. I think it was based on an old Ibanez shape?
