Re: Triple Whammy NGW!
Well, Standards aren't really Standards any more what with the locking tuners, circuit boards, chambering etc.
Main differences in my mind are the P90s and the satin finish. P90s are a new love for me (like any new relationship we'll have to see how it turns out ), and I've ALWAYS loved satin finishes.
As usual with Studio vs Std there is a slight difference in body thickness. This makes the neck joint a little more easy to get around, but combine this with the chambering makes for a feather light LP. This is a negative for me unfortunately. But I guess it'll pay off come gig time.
The best difference is... PRICE.

He did, and I offered, but... well, you know. Timing thing. It's on TM for a high price to see if I can get a cool trade, but if anyone on here wants it, feel free to PM me for a very reasonable price.

Hah went into to Lower Hutt RS to check out what the LP tribute is like. Turns out they only have the lefty in stock, as the right handed model was sold to a certain someone...

There was a really nice looking LP Traditional Tiger Quilt Top instore.
Note to Matt and Dave. Dont hang the awseome LP's over the entrance. I almost walked out thinking you didnt have any on hand, until a staff member told me so. Put it somewhere where it deserves its full attention.

they do that down in Dunedin too. Never got why, it's also hard to reach for the staff members, and if anyone ever wants to try any of the top shelf stuff, they never can be bothered getting it downBenrocky wrote:There was a really nice looking LP Traditional Tiger Quilt Top instore.
