So I've mentioned around the place that i'd been wanting to get a rockerverb for a while, and then one popped up on trademe... One buy now and 3-4 days later I had a 50w mkII head. Ordered a 2x12 combo through a friend that works at the rockshop, and after arriving on wednesday...
Orange rockerverb mkII and PPC212OB pairing sorted! Had a band practice with it last night, and it sounds absolutely killer. Has the tone I'd had in my head the entire time with it just set to 12 o'clock everything on the drive channel, too easy. And because it's all preamp gain (and my AC30 had been a bit of both) all FX loop pedals ring out clear as day and don't get swamped. Totally stoked

Juuuuuuicy! The thing i like most about Orange is how simple the setup is. No need for lots of time dialing things in, just plug and go. Seems like you'd have a hard time finding a setting that doesn't sound good

Epic!

Yeah for sure! I was surprised, flicked it on first time and it was already how I wanted to sound ballsy, has nice tight low end with the open back cab, and funnily enough it's actually less fussy than my vox was... Still got to play with the clean sound a bit because i'm not used to having something with actual clean headroom hahaMattallica wrote:Juuuuuuicy!
