NERD
New Eleven Rack Day.... how could I resist?
Picked it up yesterday just never got chance to plug in yet! Went for a marathon walk today, set off at 9am and just returned. Eyeing it up now and thinking about plugging it in, updating any firmware, downloading any patches and then pretending my hand doesn't hurt like buggery and that I have feeling in more than 50% of it...
I used to think I don't use my pinkie when playing guitar, but then I realised I used it all the time for chords _sigh_
Anyway, why did I buy it, considering I own a helix LT?
1/ It was cheap.
2/ I've always wanted one.
3/ Recording interface etc - yeah the helix does that but, on the floor etc....
4/ Rack gear is cool, I'll start looking for a Alesis Midiverb next
5/ Gives me something to fiddle with while my hand isn't up to playing guitar proper.
Anyway stock internet pic, this one is like new as its lived in a rack its entire life.

I recall I had a pod x3 pro or similar, at some point, and I reckon the orange on this looks way cooler. Still not plugged it in.

Re: NERD
Eleven Racks are awesome. I totally rate mine, it delivers excellent guitar tones and the flexible signal chain is brilliant. I always put a compressor and reverb after the mic to get a full 'recording' studio signal chain and to my ear it sounds really shit hot....

Indeed, you don't seem to be asking about a bright pink tele, just the olly white one you like the look ofThewilltopowerrock wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 5:03 pm Well it’s the looks that are the most important.

Looks like the navigation panel for a Cessna.
Cool colour. Wots it for?

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
