NGD: 1961 SG Jr

Post by godgrinder »

Image

Just took possesion of a SG Jr (or should I say LP Jr since it says so on the headstock) made in 1961. A surprisingly clean example - not too many dings. Finish checked gracefully. Original pickup and pots etc, sounding very punchy. Original pickguard has shrunk so it has a Mojoaxe one on there at the moment.

Stealing the seller's pics again:

Not one of those but a PRS SE singlecut version.
I never sell guitars... I'd have to have a brain tumour before I sold a guitar.

I might just go straight for a intonable one since I use open tuning a lot and compensated ones just don't work for that. I got a Pigtail on my 2011 Jr and I dig it. Wondering if I should go for that again or try a Tonepros this time.
