NGD... this is why my Tokai is FS
Single owner since new. All original 2004 LP Standard in near mint condition. One piece back and the vertical grain lines on the top are all starting to check

Ah after you spoke so highly of your Tokai then put it up for sale, I was wondering...
Makes absolute sense now.
I'm not an LP guy, but that is how they should look. Congrats!

Thatβs a good one. 50s or 60s neck?

Thanks, well it needed to be able to replace the Tokai. This one is in the same ballpark tonally, has the same neck profile and is exactly the same weight. Thatβll doDanger Mouse wrote: βThu Feb 24, 2022 8:17 pm Ah after you spoke so highly of your Tokai then put it up for sale, I was wondering...

Re: NGD... this is why my Tokai is FS
Thanks chaps. It was a somewhat hesitant sale on the owners part, he bought it new 17 years ago but it's been under his bed for much of that time
No 50c coin or metal picks for this one. Last night was spent giving it a clean, raising the action a little and new strings; hard to believe it's as old as it is with no real marks or dings anywhere. The flame is really 3D and could pass as an AAAA top. I'll try to get a photo of the back later as even that's pretty
