A very classy pair... *pic heavy*

Finally got my camera charged up again... well, not completely. It died again shortly after taking these pictures...

But it was for a good cause - here are some pics of the two classiest guitars I own right now:

1995 Charvel USA San Dimas 1, simplicity and functionality rolled into an elegant package. Beautiful birdseye maple neck.

2008 Ash custom Kelly, for the mature pointy lover. :D Sweet flame maple neck, which I really need to photograph properly.

Thanks :D Yup, I just got it a few weeks ago. It played horribly when I first got it - really high action and a set of 11s!! But once it had a proper setup it was awesome. Some sort of custom wound Dimarzios too which I'm sure you will appreciate ;)

Might change the pickup surrounds to match the hardware when I have the time / money though, I reckon that would class it up even more.

That Charvel body looks more like real mahogany than koa in that picture. Can't remember what the other possibilities were, but I'd give it 3:1 on mahogany.

Cool, I thought so. The other only option it was available in was lacewood... well that's definitely out of the question :D

Here are some more Kelly pics. Its hard to photograph with those contrasting colours. Even in the light, the amber overpowers the brown jarrah.

I've actually been finding it much harder to photograph the flame neck through piece! I like the way the jarrah looks either way, pretty subtle and mysterious looking figuring.
