The Paul was in walnut, released in 1978. That and the Recording are the only LPs I have desired.

My first electric guitar was a Diplomat SG. My second was a Gibson Les Paul Recording which cost me $450 from a second hand store in Christchurch.

Lovely, gradually fading of red haze into the eye of the sun.

Even the back finish is a piece of art.

It almost belongs in the ishibashi goodness thread :wink:

TLDR; Gibson sued Dean for trademark breach, over copying their guitar shapes, Dean Lost.

How can I be sure I'm here?
