Option 1 is pretty. Even better than that would be translucent blonde instead of white. A maple fretboard and gold hardware in Mary Kaye style would be better still, but those choices have already been made, so no point in going there...

Not that you have them listed, but my faves are,

Olympic White w/ White Pickguard, Maple Neck
Black w/ Black Pickguard, Maple Neck
Sunburst w/ Tortoise Shell or Black Pickguard, Rosewood or Maple Neck
Mary Kaye Blonde w/ White Pickguard, Rosewood Neck.

.... but Olympic white with white 3 Ply Pickguard FTW 8)

The Mary Kaye scheme and the Clapton Blackie scheme have been on my "to-build" wishlist for ages. I can never make up my mind on all the other details though!

Yeah, can't do the Gilmour tribute with a rosewood fingerboard, otherwise I would probably go for that. thanks for your input, but i'm more conflicted than ever now!

For some reason I really like the pewter.

Yeah you can, Gilmour's black strat had a rosewood neck at one point in its varied history. It even had a Floyd Rose for a while.

Speaking of which... A customer of mine is selling his two Gilmourish MIM strats, one maple, one rosewood. PM me if any of you want his contact details. As you were...
