Recommendations Acoustic/Electric
Need another one. Budget around 400ish. Currently have a LTD Xtone AC10E from RS and am pleased with that (action was too high but Zettwitz fixed it), so may go for another one of those.
Needs to project well acoustically and also be user friendly thru an amp, also inbuilt tuner is a good bonus (gettin used to the convenience of the tuner in the LTD).
Suggestions welcome.

Recommendations Acoustic/Electric
Should be able to get a solid top A/E Takemine Ibanez or Epi around the 450 mark.
Pretty sure the first two have tuners.
Try a bunch of those out and you've got a solid chance of finding a gem![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Ovation ticks all those boxes, but you'll either love it or hate it.

Yes a friend found a good Ibanez a/e, thanks for reminding me.
I like the Ovation sound and necks (and younger son has a celebrity a/e bass that came from RS) but I just can't handle the shape against my body.

Re: Recommendations Acoustic/Electric
If you can get over the name and just go by sound/feel, something in the Greg Bennett range could be good. I've got one and it's the one piece of gear I've never even considered selling.
Re: Recommendations Acoustic/Electric
Check out some walden a/e guitars. ticks all the boxes and really affordable. Takamine are also worth mentioning

Excessive bowel?Contoured bowl.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Have you had a look at the Rockshop clearance sale?
There's some good deals on Takamine and Epiphone [though a bit larger then your budget].
http://www.rockshop.co.nz/shop/clearanc ... 8&limit=30
and there's always Ibanez, Fender, Greg Bennett, Tanglewood...
Good luck![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

I've got a Greg Bennett too, when I was trying out acoustics it was the only one that felt right. Tbh I'm not overly fussed on it any more, but that could just be early signs of acoustic GASSixGunLover wrote:If you can get over the name and just go by sound/feel, something in the Greg Bennett range could be good. I agree about the Greg Bennett gear, can be a good buy.
I'm thinking to go Ibanez this time.

Re: Recommendations Acoustic/Electric
I never liked greg bennet stuff. Theres always something bad that totally ruins it. Ibanez is a far better option especially with the EW series.

Walden are definitely a good option to check out. I really rate their Concorda range (despite not being a fan of the glossy finish).
