I didn't know George Michael played guitar - or is that Alvin Stardust?
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

Actually, I'm even more impressed that you actually know the names of more than one bassist. I'd be hard pressed to name 5 - and I am a bassist.
Hey, man, thanks! :D

The likes of Jaco and Stanley Clark are no doubt brilliant, but I listed those that I actually enjoy listening to, rather than those I’m supposed to be in awe of, inspired by and rave about. But while their virtuosity is clearly evident, I just don’t find their music in itself particularly appealing.

Louis Johnson makes me want to pick-up a bass, and in fact I bought my first bass because of his solid grooving on Stomp. Man, I wish I could play even remotely like him. I think he’s probably the only musician that I would ever think of trying to emulate.

My friend has a few videos of Weezer. I'm not sure what it is, a new years concert or something. Some of the solo's that Rivers plays are surprising. I didn't realise he was that good :P
