isn't it amazing what effect just eq actually has, perhaps we all just need to learn and use eq better. it would be nice to see a visualisation of the captured tones to learn from. I guess that's why recording engineers get paid because they know that stuff .those results were pretty noticeable and would fool the average punter so for a covers band it would make sense, why carry a spare acoustic for 2-3 songs only
It seems more realistic than a variax , i wonder what it would do if you captured a non standard tuned guitar

After messing around with the Keyztone Exchanger, I've been tweaking my EQ a lot.
It would be nice to have it all come from the guitar, but that's not always possible. Love being able to make and save them all in the AX8.

Some of the bass patches I have for my helix, have 3 eq blocks- like before after and in the loop!!!! Sounds freaking good, but I've made my own patches with just the amp, nothing else - no IR and no cab and to my tin ears they sound just as good lol
