A bit similar to the SD P-rails IME - Jack of all trades, but master of none. Can't speak highly enough of the guitars themselves tho. I have an Indo made 33 and its a cracker! Subbed co-axe's for p90's tho.Lyle wrote:What about this: https://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instrum ... cd9aee-001
Not sure if the pickups are actually P90s, it looks like they're a bit of a variant.

Re: P90 Guitar Search
I have had a couple of those Vox guitars, they are loverly, but the pickups are a bit meh, I think P90's would be great upgrade and the "spare" switch could be wired as a Bass Cut like the Revstars. The necks are quite skinny too.

Re: P90 Guitar Search
If anyone's still interested, you can get H/B sized P-90s which are pretty damned good; I have a set of Kent Armstrong P90s in an old Vantage Avenger 325 which sound epic, and certainly lose nothing to a P90 equipped 1970s Aria Pro II Double-cut copy...
There is no sort of aberrant behaviour that cannot be modified by use of the correct ammunition!

You shouldn't be surprised, Yamaha equals quality ( for electric guitars anyway). And they have great designs too
Sorry. Sorry Bg
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
