Awesome. Love the super 400 inlays.
Hard to get one of these south of 10k NZD nowadays.
I bet the neck is more chunky than the SG2000?

Re: Recent NGD - Gibson 25/50 LP
Time is an interesting thing. I remember when those were released. The hype was loud and the price astronomical. They sank like a rock.
But all these years later, hopefully at a more reasonable price, they become an interesting Lester variant.
Very cool! Happy NGD
And if you're comparing its weight to an SG2000, of course it's light.

Re: Recent NGD - Gibson 25/50 LP
Yeah prices on reverb are super high now, got this for much less, not really a collector piece due to non original parts and some cosmetic damage, so was a little north in price of a brand new lp standard.
I remember first seeing them mid 00's where they were around 3k but that was a bit rich for me at the time, all the extra bullshit is cool to make it a bit diff than a normal custom, and I've never been into the classic yellow burst colours, so this really hits the spot on the shit I like in a Gibson.
Neck has a good girth, but not over the top chunky. Think the sg may actually be a bit more, but haven't done a direct compare
