However, they don't seem to have them in any of the local music stores so i'll probably have to buy online.
I was just browsing Musiciansfriend and noticed that they won't ship a new one but they will ship a 'used' one to NZ.
They have one available:

It's in their first grade of "Mint Condition".
Does anyone have experience with buying used from musiciansfriend? Are their labels acurate? Is it a fair price?

Also, I put in my shipping details and it said that shipping would be free (Mothers Day deal I think). Where do taxes and GST fit into the process (sorry, new to buying overseas).
15% GST + customs duty (which was about $70 last time I was charged it) for items over $400NZ. Sometimes you get lucky and don't get charged but don't count on it. Send a PM to NZRS_Matt for a price from an NZ supplier.

I should add that the last time I imported anything was 2005 and the value was about the same but it was a much smaller item.

Pony up an extra $1000 and i'll sell you a sunburst block inlay 72 with a replaced bridge pick up (Seymour Duncan quarter pounder). Oh yeah, it has the 'Thurston Moore' electronic set up, i.e no roller pots and bright switch only master volume tone and P/U switching. :!:
1935 Martin D-45, 1942 Gibson Southern Jumbo,1950 Fender Broadcaster, 1954 Fender Strat, 1958 Gibson Moderne prototype, 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard.
1958 Fender twin, 1965 Vox AC30, 1966 Marshall JTM 45, 1977 Dumble OD Special.
Big black garbage bag full of original Klon Centaurs and TS808s.
