Ah yeah. I just mean there is always something new you find when fixing something else. Very normal in that industry I imagine!

Says the tradie.
For the less hammer swinging inclined, a lot of home maintenance jobs involve a whole lot of anxiety, followed by a bit of research / YouTube videos, some false confidence and that looks simple I can do that, to actually doing it and discovering you don’t have the right tool, and you’ve cocked it up, some crushing disappointment reinforced by the missus confirming you have cocked it up and are indeed useless, and then paying someone to come do it properly anyway.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

The older the house, the greater the certainty.

And I'm a master of, 'Doesn't fit? Get a bigger hammer.'

I’m only buying new houses from now on, we’ve had 6 years of doing nothing in our current one, bliss!!
