Lol. That's the lounge wall. Found a leak and rotten bottom plate so it still needs some fixing up before I can paint it. Endless work.
That's probably not a particularly big job as long as you can still buy Gib.
Ah yeah. I just mean there is always something new you find when fixing something else. Very normal in that industry I imagine!

For the less hammer swinging inclined, a lot of home maintenance jobs involve a whole lot of anxiety, followed by a bit of research / YouTube videos, some false confidence and that looks simple I can do that, to actually doing it and discovering you don’t have the right tool, and you’ve cocked it up, some crushing disappointment reinforced by the missus confirming you have cocked it up and are indeed useless, and then paying someone to come do it properly anyway.
