I kinda like the 12db boost thing too, neck feels really nice, pickups seem ok so not really tempted to upgrade. overall pretty happy with my new purchase, this might be the Strat that finally stays longer than a month.
That looks awesome now Reg

Don't quite remember but aren't those pickups the noiseless ones? (12db boost on normal strat pickups makes them shart themselves)
I don’t know what pickups they are but it has a dummy coil in it.
Just finished up a practice with it and it sounds great!

Ah yeah, I thought it might have :) Mike C many years ago sold me a set of those including dummy coil. I don't think they were too bad, but I then got a set of 57's which had no rwrp middle so I used the dummy coil.

Nice strat! That colour looks awesome. Quite subtle for a metallic finish.

Not a fan of a floating bridge either, (too easy to push the bridge down and it goes out of key).
From memory I held the bridge tight against the body and just screwed the screws down until they were firm against it without lifting it up. Seemed about the sweet spot for me.
Nothing to see here.

I set bridge screws with no strings on, getting it hinging nicely and full range without excess wiggle. And then I don't use it, keep the bar in the parts box. Odd I am.
2024; I have explored the extent of the perimeter dome, there is no escape. I am become Morpheus

After playing it live on the weekend I think I’ve finally found a Strat I can gel with. I’m off sick today so had time to put a little video together. First half of the video is Hendrix ish chords showing how the no load tone pot and mid boost work, and second half is more how I would use it at church with delay and reverb taking inspiration from the edge!

Thats not a bug, its a feature. Just ask Jeff Beck,

obviously you'll need a clairvoyant.
