nope! Haven't seen or played one with that before? and I've owned quite a fair number of Suhrs maybe it's the highly customized ones that has it

It most likely is split on the Suhr.

My last Suhr had a clever thing whereby positions 2 and 4 were modified so they didn't sound dark / muddy (as they can with standard wiring).

Yeah, mine was a Squier Strat. It was my brothers and he neve played it. I used to play it before he got home from school so I didn't get into trouble! :lol:

When I play my favourite Strat I immediately appreciate that it's particularly special. I can rotate the other guitars all day long then pick up the Strat and it's just another level (to me). You've had some epic Strats. Maybe you just need to buy another one. ;-) Then another. And one more just to be sure.

This is true for me also.

I think where you start from makes a lot of difference. You could remake this substituting in any of the other guitars as a starting point and it would be the perfect description of somebody on here.
