Excuse my MS paint, 'quick before someone at work sees' skills

But this:

I think a strat neck on a traditional Gibson SG body would get you close to an ass kicking but the Viper slanted style could get away with it.

Variations on the quick fix above:

P90's! = win
Nice PG styles
Contour and elbow cuts experimented with
Maybe flip it PII styles.. could look sick done right.. upper fret reg is not a biggy with this neck.

Youre a bad bad man :P Is that 'Art Deco Formica benchtop finish?

Running with that though. Would be cool to see a hum bucker sitting in one of those Tele bridge trays with a hum or possibly better, a P-90 in the neck. THe s/s/s looks like it unbalances that pic a little, prob just me  :)
Righteous thinking Dayl. Couldn't have said it better.
But keep the colour; a hint of Minty Freshness in a beaten up, worn down, sunburst relic World. :D

I reckon if you shape that Jazzmaster thing more into a Strat and add a Strat neck you'd get a pretty decent guitar. Kinda like a Strat.

Ya can't mess with the perfect guitar.
She told me baby when you race today just take along my love with you, and if ya knew how much I love you baby, nothin' could go wrong with you.

OK, I've decided.

Jazzmaster+LP Special hybrid.

Mahogany body, 2 or 3 P90s, black pickguard, cherry red finish (or TV yellow if anyone insists firmly enough... or something else if cash is involved!).

I already have a mahogany JM body handy, P90 parts and a lack of mahogany/P90 content in the lineup.
Now to squeeze it into the schedule!
