Tone is in the fingers, and Tony Iommi had at least two fingers made of plywood, so there you go.

i thought they were made from plastic bottles :P

lucite guitar anyone?
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

The dude who used to play for Rob Zombie had a hollow plastic guitar he filled with cows blood. (He drank it during the show. One show, it was left in the sun and went bad and he wound up throwing up over the audience partway through.)

Would human blood sound better than cattle blood?

This squire is surprisingly awesome to look at, has real vintage vibe, but didn't get on with the sound at all.

This strat is just so ugly to look at, but sounds better and better every year. It has turned me from a Les Paul guy through and through to a strat player as my number 1 choice. I still get sounds out of it I never knew it had and I've owned it for a long time now.
