if so thats cool. And yeah I am a late developer, i dont even have pubes yet, and my boobs are small.
But seriously yeah, I spent the last 2 years out of school tryna find work/working. Decided that it was total bullshit so i wanna go to uni, and in the last year i have Really got into my music, thats why i wanna get a guitar, rog.
as far as amps go... Epiphone Valve Junior - buy one, it'll be the best $300 amp you can ever find - instant valve heaven, bung a decent distortion in front and you have metal. It's loud enough for noise control and you'll have much respect...
if you want fizzy headphone modelling madness, treat yourself to a 2nd hand pod.
Pay attention to the tone recipe...
1 part guitar, 2 parts amp, 2 parts passion, 2 parts talent, 5 parts dedication. Mix it all up with some spices and voila.... but remember that tone starts in the soul.
Its not enough that we succeed, we still need others to fail

best starter fizzy transistorized tone perhaps.... go with the Epi, its a mans amp... volume control, input, on/off switch and something to toast your bread on and guaranteed to get you chicks...

bet you're jealous you can't legitimately use the dennis quote then

Nope, the Vox DA5 kills the Roland, and if you want a good practice amp, this or the 15 watt or 30 watt Vox ADT series are great value, no good for gigging (well maybe ) but excellent for figuring out what sounds you are after, and in the meantime suffice for a few years of practicing.
Go with a goodish amp and semi decent guitar, will do for a couple of years.
