Urgh. I can't say I'm excited for it. Gibson doing a superstrat? Next thing you know, Fender will do an ES-335!

Gibson has done super strats before. Have a look at the M series from the early 90s.

Re: Return of the Gibson shocker thread!
Meh. Looks like an old Doublecut-ish prototype. Or something very well reliced. Even if it's a new model, presumably a bolt-on mahogany with humbuckers, so keeping in Gibson's lane.
If I were Fender or Suhr I'd still be sleeping pretty soundly.

Whatever happened to these. I liked the look of them.
Just needs the proper switch location and 4 knobs.

Re: Return of the Gibson shocker thread!
I played one of those in the back room at K Rd Rockshop. I thought it was great. They just needed someone well known and famous to play one, to get exposure.
Would've liked the toggle to be on the top cutaway though.

Here's something I've never seen before.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
