Grumpy old man post ahead. Everyone knows this store will only be a cost. Every Gibson that sells through a "proper" music shop will be subsidising their ego driven folly of big retail stores.

Gibson is truly following their dream of being the Harley-Davidson of guitars. Nothing could turn me off more.

Looking at the present and future guitarists, I'll stick with the past thanks. Audible dreck, 90% of it. Although there still seems to be a plethora of youngsters on YouTube playing Sabbath and Zeppelin material, so maybe there is hope.
