I've bought Schallers, 2 sets, but have 3 gats - so please vote and tell me where to put them.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

yeah, but now I'm mostly a bass player.... so I've got to do the LP and the Bass - I love my strat - a nice cheap MIJ but I still love it but I don't actually care if I drop it - in fact it adds to the 'patina'....

Well, I don't know what your bass is, but basses must have full protection, so put one set on that.
For the second set, put it on whichever is your most common player.
I personally can't imagine ever playing live without straplocks, so ....
Buy another set - cheap arse!

bass is a Yamaha SDGR 800 which is an active thingy with about 50 knobs on it - I didn't choose it, I sort of inherited it.
I would have bought another set, but they only had gold ones left - and I think they are a bit tacky It took them 3 weeks to get these in, and they only got me 2 sets when I asked for 3 - blardy typical
Yep Strat was $400 off Trademe last year - absolute bargain, keeper

I had to vote ""up my arse", but only on the basis that you have to go to anx-ray clinic and tell them you have pains in your abdomen and require an x-ray...basivcally what they did on Jackass...in keeping with the busted up theme, a really well worn Les Paul looks the bix as well...but it has to be really worn, not this fake "distressinng" they do - which I am thinking of doing the old Strat you sold me BG...

lol, yeah LP's need to be worn in. Nothing quite like an old goldtop with the gold rubbed off through wear and tear. I'm currently distressing my LP, and I reckon it should be finished in about 30 years
How are you planning on distressing it? I saw something a few months back - it was a distressing master class by someone from the fender custom shop, and he was using bunches of keys and all sorts - nuts and bolts etc.... wish I'd saved the link now!
