Very interested in this. Anything I should be aware of? Anybody know this guy or the guitar? Did any of the techs here do the work he's mentioned? Unlikely I know, but worth a try.

Why are you after that over the ones you currently have? The roadworns are terrific and your USA standard is pretty hot too.

Anyone who has
'owned a Strat for 3 years', owns
'4 custom made guitars', is
'a recording artist', can't spell guitar, or guitarist - but has a huge array of misspellings to that effect and yet still files their Stratocaster in the 'Acoustic electric guitars' section of Trademe using photos of another guitar strikes me as 9 partys dodgy, 1 part stupid.
IMHO

Yeah, me too.
HOWEVER, I notice that the spelling mistakes increase dramatically after someone mentions "smarty's". Maybe he's deliberately misspelling stuff to be funny (ie, he's not a "smarty")?
I notice also that the spelling errors are not consistent (giterist/gutorast), which makes me feel that they MIGHT be on purpose. "thier", OTOH, is misspelled consistently.
OR PERHAPS... the first couple of questions were answered from a computer with some sort of spelling checker and the others weren't.

Some of the spelling looks like the proverbial 100 monkeys with typewriters. In a guitar case that fell off the shelf.

Ha 10 grand for a beater... not today. I'm glad their are some other sceptics out there, I was gonna post that I thought the guy sounded like a poser who picked up guitar to talk the talk (see failed marketing pitch) but probably ran into a few too many hardcore guitarists for his ego - hence all the smarty carry on.

HOLEY SH*T! Should we be expecting to see a whole pile of his gear up for sale on the auction site in the new year?
