So this arrived in the shop today



Rory Gallagher Custom Shop Strat.








Very Likely chance that I will buy this when I get back from NZ. Not really a strat kinda guy and was saving up to get a firebird but I saw this and played it for about an hour and fell in love.
None of the strats in the shop had any appeal to me at all but when I play this, it's almost like when I play my tele, I play better and sound better and am more confident, even my workmate who plays drums said there was something special about when I played it as opposed to when I just noodle on other guitars.

Damn GAS, gonna take a while to pay this off if I put it on layby.

ha. I trimmed it all this morning in anticipation for my grandads funeral on Saturday but did a shocking job. When I see photos I think is that what I look like in real life but the missus tells me that because of the colour my facial hair comes out weird in photos or something. #atleastithasalongtenon
