String bending is out then?

Yeah I can't get over the aesthetic weirdness, and my guitars are so badly intonated at the moment that nothing but open strings are in tune anyway...

Spose it's okay if you have true temperament fingers but I tend to avoid slamming mine in a car door.

You know, I think I could cope with it based on the random places my fingertips land. Maybe some likeable weird in the bends.

Doesn't affect bending.GrantB wrote:String bending is out then?
What I remember about these frets is that even though they aim to provide better intonation across the board, some chords will still sound more in tune than others. I believe they have different versions of the 'pattern' that you can choose from because of this. So yeah, It's an improvement but not the perfect solution that some people think it is.
Still a cool idea though if you can afford it!

Refrets would be a total pink taco.

Check out from about 7.45 onwards, Vai has been using these kind of guitars on/off since 2007 and probably earlier...AiRdAd wrote:What say you?

I think they're a great idea if you have perfect pitch and some stuff annoys you. I have tin ears though some stuff still annoys me and occasionally I just tweak the tuning to make up for it... otherwise.... I wouldn't kick it out of bed mind, but.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

They should have put these on the 2015 Gibson range. It would go with all the other wacky shit and match the elderly scrawl on the headstock!
