I like the idea, (I wrote a post about this but it disappeared somehow) I would like to try it - apart from the scratch guard.
Maple board, les paul with a b bender. Interesting.
but then again I am not a normal tele owner - I have lil59s in my maple board tele anyway.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

I can't quite see - It's got an ash cap on the body - what is the rest of the body made of?
