NGND my first Warmoth neck!

Post by codedog »

It's a bunch of firsts, really. First roasted maple neck, first pau ferro board, first fat neck (1 whole inch all the way!), first V profile, first custom Warmoth neck. Great quality and, as kdawg mentioned, once set up no fret levelling was needed! Wife is on the way home, gotta cook dinner now. Will give it a whirl tomorrow. Setup is not quite right yet, I had to raise the saddles.

Yup! It was a cheaper score brand new, I'm happy to keep it as a mod platform.

Great deal. I love the Warmoth necks.

What colour is it? Surf Green, or Sea Foam Green?

I have a Warmoth on my black strat. Love the side truss rod adjuster, makes life easy.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Looks great, I have a fat Warmoth neck on my Cabronita and love it - the only trouble is most other guitar necks now feel really skinny.

Edit: mine is an Allparts, not Warmoth.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

That's an Allparts neck, but it is excellent! :) (I presume we're talking about the same guitar).

I feared that too at first. However, the V shape means it doesn't actually feel fat. Having said that, I haven't spent time with it. I'll play only this one over Xmas, and see how I feel picking up my other Strat after that.
