Taylor with a bevel? Should have just gone the whole way and bought an Ovation.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

My 14 year-old niece just bought one of these too.jeremyb wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 2:47 pm And here she is, Taylor Academy 12, played it off against a bunch of other cheaper and more expensive guitars and liked it more!
Had great low action out of the box, no fret buzz or other undesirable things, really comfy with the bevel on the body and neck feels a lot like a slightly thicker version of my Strat. I like!

Oh I'm not referring to him as a 14 year-old girl. Just comparing him to one.

It did occur to me, but I didn't want anyone to think I was heterosexual.

Interestingly the bevel was only previous available on their custom shop builds... its certainly a lovely addition for someone whose not an acoustic player and wants a bit of comfort!

Oh Christ sorry man, I was just calling you a woman. No man-boobs offence intended. I've grown a cup size too, if it helps.

Rockshop have Black Mountain picks, spring loaded. I quite like them.

What sort of thickness would you recommend? I use really light on electric, sorta 0.60 kinda light!WellyBlues wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 6:38 pmRockshop have Black Mountain picks, spring loaded. I quite like them.

Nice couple of vids from Taylor and Elixir, pretty stoked they work together as they are my favourite string manufacturer!
