Those are the "staple" pickups, right? What's the deal with them?Molly wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 3:16 amI've said it before, that P90 LPC on the left is my favourite guitar on the forum.godgrinder wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 4:16 pm Now I have all 3 major food groups of LPC: 50's (all mahogany), 60's (mahogany neck/body with maple top) and 70's (mahogany body, maple neck/maple top).

There are pickup plates that you can buy, that go under the pickup. I've got some somewhere. If I can dig them up I'll take a pic.godgrinder wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 3:14 amA friend lent me a pair of Aldrich but the hole has been drilled for direct mount. Re: NLPD: '10 68RI LPC
You could probably drill the hole out more and fit a rivet nut in there, or I could 3d print you a threaded piece to slide over the ear of the pickup to add a threadgodgrinder wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 3:14 amA friend lent me a pair of Aldrich but the hole has been drilled for direct mount. Something like this?
That reminded me there are these little parts out there, if I can find M2.5 ones it might work:

Right hand side LP for me all the way, that burst is ethereal.

I’ve installed the Gotoh locking tuners. Also swapped the bridge pickup to a T Top which was originally from my ‘79 Silverburst.

Do you have a B.A.D made one, or are they both older? The newer ones seem pretty awesome with that depth mod coming stock now.

Re: NLPD: '10 68RI LPC
Both are older ones, a 2010 and a 1993. I had depth mod done on a HR50+ I had, and ended up turning it all the way down anyway since I tune low lol.

Looks good! Don’t forget to pull the sticker on the guard!
