New Nylon Crossover Day.

The GAS has been bubbling for a while, the outcome was inevitable.
This is from Cort's Gold series. That means solid timbers; Pau Ferro back & sides, Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and an aged Englemann Spruce top. All very tasty and built to the same standard found on top Eastmans. I have no issue at all with the best Chinese luthiery these days; it's excellent.

It's a bit like the Lowden in that it demands excellent technique to sound its best but I'm a sucker for punishment. I've had to put the Matsuoka away because the Cort is brand new and doesn't stand a chance against a hard working 50 year old instrument. But I expect it to open up and meantime, it works with AER or Princeton just fine.

Right....Baritone next then I reckon I'm done. :D

Guitar Gallery. It's a Cort OC8. They brought in two and predictably, Oleg got the other one. But there's a Cordobra cedar top at the Rockshop in Albany. If I had been able to A/B them together, I honestly don't know which I would have taken home. I strongly recommend it of all the available Crossovers I've played. (RS only have the one.)

Very nice. I had an M80 Matzuoka wished I’d have hung on to it like all the rest.

They get good when they're old.

Looks well nice. I could get on with this sort of thing, I think, but I've maybe a quarter of the budget.
