Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I've just watched That Pedal Shows rig rundown of Neil Finn and now I want one! I've got the 70s gold top deluxe, just need the gretsch.

I have wondered for a while why the internet rags on Les Paul and Telecaster guitars over tuning issues, but the worst offender gets a pass. The Stratocaster (apart from the hardtail).
P.S. A lot of the talk about the issues various guitars have that now circulate on the internet were influenced by a certain fella named Paul Reid Smith. When he launched PRS back in the day he marketed hard. The main tactic was to point out all the flaws and design issues other guitars have and then say his ones were the solution. The ragging on guitars that goes on draws heavily on what Mr PRS said back in the day.
I remember the Guitar Player articles etc. PRS was the best thing since sliced bread and would solve all your guitar problems (I was enchanted by the marketing too TBH, but the spell was broken when I actually played the things)

I've never found the Les Pauls tuning issues a problem. If you've got to tune between songs, then you tune between songs. It's not a hard thing to do.
The Telecasters ability to hold tune is a problem. By the time it goes slightly flat every 15 years, the tuners have gone rusty and they're hard to turn.
