NGD 1981 Ibanez BL300nt Blazer
So this just happened...
Trying to stay away from stuff like this but .... it cost me about as much as a box of Heiniken, I had to.
1981 Ibanez Blazer in natural Ash. Fretboard is pretty clean for a maple of this Era and the paint job comes free
It's been a while between Roadstar / Blazer vibes and these are fantastic players in my opinion... so on the refinish pile she goes.

Oh hell yes!
Great score.
Great score.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

It was an early version of the Fretlight concept.

No but there are marks that look like paint? I had to clean some off, some still left though.

I have a 1980 version. If you're going to change anything don't throw out the parts, I'll take them for spares. The out of phase toggle switch is broken on mine so I'd like a genuine replacement.

Um.. If I'd paid a box of beers equivalent for it I'd probably leave the paint job. It's a little bit cool.rickenbackerkid wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 7:20 pm horrendous paint job. Very cool guitar. I have a bass from that series.
Yeah, yeah, I know: Good from far, far from good.

Ha, the paint job looks great in the pic.... it's really terrible. Smudges to thick overlaps to woodgrain.
Replacement headstock decal incoming. Will see where it all leads.

Hey, on closer inspection, yes! It looks like positions were definitely marked out. Looks like minor pentatonic but so much has rubbed off.
