Dean ML...case

Post by 1-3-8 »

I just ordered a Dean ML 79 from the rockshop...

then a problem struck me.

What sort of hardcase would fit it in?

I was trhinknig a Rockcase Explorer case or a coffin case might do the trick. But I'd hate to order the wrong case.

Does anybody actually know from experience, which cases would fit it?
Rockshop doesn't sell stock Dean cases.

Going through the same thing with my sister-in-law's ML shaped Karina. From what we looked at there are generic cases that are set up to take them, but you might have to order online from overseas or get the RS to bring one in for you. I think the coffin cases taper in at the wrong place, but I haven't actually tried it...

The rockshop has those warrick rock cases in different sizes. You may need to take your guitar to them however. I got one for my Jackson kelly, it also doubles as a case for my V, and my LTD les paul copy. The only thing it didn't fit was the KK V signature (which is longer than a bass  ).

My dean has yet to arrive in the mail, so I'm not sure what sort of case it will fit.

But thanks for the help.
