Clapton's biggest influence was Robert Johnson, and you can actually hear a lot of Robert Johnson style playing in his guitaring

Oh bugger! I hadn't read or heard anything about you playing at the festival, otherwise I would definitely have come along. I played in Kerikeri on sat so might not have been able to make it anyway.
