just listened to the 2nd group (i missed that post yesterday  )
awesome guys 8)
its cool to hear everyones different takes on things
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Great fun. Thanks
Just had a good listen on monitors. I thought everyone had the same feel... like the slow bends and the creeping up the scale to a crescendo... Zappa banned any of his guitarists from doing that for a while. He reckoned its simulating a orgasm so you would up your chances of getting a blow job after the gig.

Rob. I think ya need to pull the backing track back a little in the mix. The two BT's you have put up are very loud so I'm guessing they are compressed where the tracks we're sending in arn't. Just seemed like the solo work was a little buried.

Wicked jam :D

Yea, the mix was very hard especially on the first group as there were a few over dubs which were premixed so when I got them the sound levels were varied.
Very hard to mix someone elses ears, but I think the ideas came across.
That as well as Im very impatient and just wanted to get the jams rotating so we can get everyone involved and interacting.

I always appreciate the tips though, Im right into mixing things at the moment. :D

yeah mine was definitely a bit buried but I didn't spend long mixing mine anyway - it was two tracks, one track had some quiet synth chordal stuff and the other was the main guitar with moog blended in... like I say mine wasn't exactly a good mix to begin with ;)

All good stuff...
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
