First in first served?

Maybe could do 2 separate jams on this track, so 12 people could have a go if they want?

I can post up the blank track so another set of peeps can have a crack without being intimidated by mastery of modes and technique :)

#5 - I'll do it Sunday morning if that's legit! I've got a gig tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I won't want to play guitar again for the rest of the day

Man, that bassline just makes me think of a Will Smith song....

OK, all the newbies on the forum (of which I am one) that are scared of having their playing sandwiched by speedy licks and good technique, I'm keen to have a newbie track. I won't be able to do anything 'til Monday/Tuesday, but if anyone else wants to have a go first, sweet as.

I think because it's a newbie track, recording by whatever means necessary should be cool :D Headset mics, mobile phones etc. Should be a laugh

Man, I have tried to upload this three times now. It just won't upload ... never been a problem before. Uploads, and then this screen resets with no file.

I downloaded and recorded the solo just after the second post was made. I didn't think you would all be onto it that quick.

This is my second listen through ... I thought it was Am to Fm and so there are so honky mistakes. So much so that I think someone else can take the spot. My son pressed paused as well (he's only two) so I just rewound it and spliced it together. It literally is the first take sought of.

******EDIT
So I have uploaded it to the RS website ...

Very nice playing BG - love the backing track.

So how are we doing this? I can't remember, do we all record it then send it to BG to put together?? Or wait till someone posts it up, then record over that, and so on??

Going by the first post.. the latter. I think the idea is, #2 records their part and uploads it, then #3 downloads that, does their bit, etc etc

Forget the better gear, do it now :D That's the point. All us not-so-well-practised players with not-so-nice gear getting to join in on the fun
