theres no pretending involved
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Oh okay. Well there wasn't when I was there, which was the first and only time which explains me not knowing that there is a drumkit somewhere there. Wow that was a long sentence.

If there's a drummer I'd be keen. As the only bass player last time, there wasn't a lot that I found interesting, gearwise. I'll bring my amp next time too, I'd hoped Eclipse would have had a DI box or something.

It was fun meeting so many of you guys though.
"Vince, have you ever tried playing an expensive bass?" - Polarbear.
"And isn't that the finest acoustic bass guitar feedback solo you've ever heard?" - Billy Moose.

We rented both rooms.

The drumkit wasn't there last time, but the two previous times it was setup in the second room. Heck they even supplied a drummer for a bit at the September geafest !

When I book it, I'll ask if the drummer can be there again- he was choice.

The next month is starting to look pretty full-on for me so maybe early May would be better.

Really? We will have to do something about that...

I think it would be awesome to have a drumkit there.
