Sorry, couldn't be bothered putting it elsewhere and embedding it.
I'm also looking forward to sizzlingbadger's photos which I'm sure will cover all the stuff I missed.

Thanks for the great pics, Nik! I may steal some when I'm on a faster internet connection... went over my broadband limit, doh.
Question, how come the link to the website doesn't transfer over in quotes? Oh well... for anyone who may be interested, and can't be bothered copy/pasting... http://sixstringsamurai.co.nz/2012/08/0 ... -gearfest/

Wellington August 2012 gearfest
Great to meet the peeps, good sorts all round.
I loved the walls of Orange and Vox.
Guitar of the day for me has to be the Helio(?) Ed picked up.
What a great guitar, nice score Ed and kudos to Ash for a mad skills.
I really liked the White Falcon of polar bear's, and comic sans aside I was impressed with the McPherson red booster.
The Orange Rockerverb 100 sounded great even through two walls, and tubeswell's Princeton clone with black paisley tolex was something special with bbrunskill playing through it. I wanted hamo to wear a pirate outfit when playing his rig of Pirates of the Caribbean guitar with Blackheart amp.

You will. But, outside Auckland, it only happens once every hundred years. And it's so quick, many think it was just a dream.Daza152 wrote:Ha Ha..Sorry Thought I would finally see the face of the Man they call 'BG'.Vince wrote:He's the one in Auckland.Daza152 wrote:Yeah nice pics...but which one is BG?

I met BG in the dark once. I still couldn't accurately describe him to the police though.

He turned up to one of our Wellie gearfests and, as soon as I saw this stranger holding a box of Kilkennies, I knew who it HAD to be!badmotor wrote:I met BG in the dark once. I still couldn't accurately describe him to the police though.
