Oh, thanks! :D

I really enjoyed playing along to whatever you were doing too.

And it was cool meeting Jenesis and BG and bbrunskill and Knight of Cydonia and everybody else as well.

The revelation for me yesterday was the Tremolux. If I sell my 18watt clone, that's what will replace it.

Seriously hot amp Pete!
Yep they sure are. Here's some guff to wet your appetite:

What Hubert Sumlin had to say about it:

http://www.louisamps.com/files/tremblelux_write_up.pdf

That one yesterday was modelled on the fixed-bias '58-'59 model (5G9), which I love because the bias-vary trem goes best with fixed bias amps - the hypnotic intensity kinda slams ya into the middle of next week. (The '55--58 model (5E9A) was cathode biased and slightly more like a 5E3, but slightly less-effective trem).
He who dies with the most toobs... wins

As a matter of fact, I don't think anyone picked up that guitar and didn't have a go at being Yngwie/Petrucci/metal shred dude...now where's that pic of Benderissimo playing it :P
It's all lies, I'm just a hack. And I didn't think anyone could hear me playing Rob's ESP  I was being a bit silly on that thing ;) What an amazing guitar, one of the nicest necks I've ever played. The SD's in it didn't sound anything like what I was excepting, many times better, just awesome really. GAS...

Hi all, it was nice to meet some of you yesterday.

My apologies for splitting so early - a severe lack of amplification and a sudden drop in confidence (come on, I'm a girl, I'm allowed!) saw me shoot off after less than an hour, but what I saw and heard from the boys was all good.

Hopefully next time I'll have a bit more to offer :)

Coolness for getting to see what you all look like as Human Beings instead of avatars. I was beginning to wonder if some of you really were. Human. Cara, nice bass. Lurve red.

*mumble mumble* I can't believe someone called my Ash custom a BC Rich... *mumble mumble*

Good to finally meet Dong and Jack, crazy metal guys. I wish I could play that kind of stuff these days! Glad you all enjoyed the Singlecut, that thing's a monster eh, does a mean chunk, but it excels at fat rock tones too.

I felt a bit confused and in the middle of nowhere - these days I'm neither 100% riffage and shred-oriented, but neither am I completely in the clean and sparkly crowd!

Ben - ohhhhh the tele bridge pickup. Awesome. Quite jealous. I wonder if I got the same pickups in mine it would sound like that...

I'm surprised no one tried to walk out casually with Rob's new ESP... (Dong, Jack, Gelato - lookin' at all three of you! :D)

Yeah that red Jazz-bass is damn nice. Was having a quiet drool over that one towards the end.

I was keeping an eye out 8) I'm surprised I was able to get it back from Dong after his Lamb Of God riffage through the mark III.

it was a good afternoon indeed, worth flying in for :) Thanks to Jay and Ben respectively for lifts to and from the fest. Some seriously cool gear there shame I turned up empty handed really (other than the 8 cans of kilkenny I guzzled down like the old lush I am ;) )
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
