I will try and make it down... though I'm not sure how I'm going to explain driving to Hamilton to meet other guitar people to the missus.
When I was an active member of a car owners club, I was about to head out to the club's gearfest equivalent when my ex said,

"So, let me know if I've got this right, you're going to a dark carpark in the middle of nowhere to meet up with a bunch of strange blokes you've met on the internet, so you can compare "penis extensions"?"

Probably best you just lie.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

"I'm going out to jam with some mates".

Sounds pretty convincing to me... I'm not sure why the response is always "Oh is that with your guitar nerd friends?".

Pretty sure I'll head down for this one too. Would be keen to share petrol costs if anyone wants to car pool.

Last time I bought my little amps, and felt like I bought a bread knife to a gunfight - so I won't be doing that again!!!
Woah Danny thats an impressive haul right there
Is that Ryan modded 800 you're bringing the same as the combo we jammed on last time?
That was all kinds of awesome 8)

I'll have a Scumback loaded cab there, you should plug a couple of those Marshalls into it & see what you think.
I think I'll bring down the Mojave & a couple of modded Marshalls.
Thanks - I'd love to try them in that cab. Yeap - the 800 is the one you played.

Danny, I sure can bring the AFD... and maybe an AD30 too, I'm really digging it when I get the chance to wind it up a bit. I'll also bring a Wolfgang or two and maybe a LP if I come.
Thanks that would be great

Can't promise at this stage, apparently I'm quite famous for not turning up :). Though in my defense , at the time I didn't like leaving the house other than for work. Depression is a bitch :)
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
