Hey guys - good venue - mainly since it's just a 15 minute walk away for me. So fill in a newbie on the deal? Just showing off all our latest gear and seeing what we all have? (You may have explained what these are all about but I got stuck at the word beer...!)

ERm its mostly about beer. and talking. and getting chance to hoon on others gear. as grant is coming, its about old antique gear too, and I'm sure he'll lead a q/a session around the room etc.

oh yeah, theres beer too.

So the only rules are, if you don't want others to touch your gear either don't bring or make sure people know. and if you break it you pay for it. other than that, its usually heaps of fun, everyones welcome to a go on my boner, I always like to hear other people playing it as often when you're standing in front you don't get its full value :D

and beer.
with some talking, and bitching about people on the forum who aren't there.

oh and strippers.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Sounds like I better turn up then! I will leave my '63 daphne blue strat at home though. I don't want you all touching it. Even just looking at it can devalue it. I keep it in box, you won't know whether it's a '63 or a squier, because it's both, and neither. At least until you open the box. Or some cat-like shite I never understood...

Anyway, sounds cool. I'll pop in for sure, beer and guitars sounds good. (stripper is a reference to that Denche chap and his paint jobs I am guessing, might pass on that part!)

I was thinking of bringing the JvppCaster with home made pickups.

Just don't let me play it :D
I think you are referring to my all NZ Timber Caster... The JvpCaster is the latest with 6 coils per pickup...

I would be honoured if you played it.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
