Re: Wellington gearfest October?
Oh I see, so one minute you're swanning off to Auckland, and then you expect us to just let you come running back like nothing has happened? You're just a becoming Gearfest flusey.
...I mean, yeah definitely. Plaease make it a Saturday again. Last time something unexpected came up, but Saturday is definitely the best bet for me, no way I can do Sunday these days.
Hopefully I might have some Z action happening, unless I've sent it back already.

might be able to make it if its nearer the end of october (might have recovered enough by then )
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Yeah, I'd really be into that.
Any chance of dragging in a drummer? I mean, for real.

AS long as it's not Labour Weekend I'll be keen.

Ahhh... yeah me too. I have... ahem... other commitments.
We could do the next weekend though- 31st. Might be able to wrangle the drummer at eclipse but otherwise does someone have a shaved monkey they could bring?

Re: Wellington gearfest October?
I've got a drummer I might be able to bring. Will confirm later.
Keen as for Eclipse again (as usual) it's good having two rooms. Nice and roomy.
Aslong as it's not Labour weekend then we're good to go. Early October is probably too short notice for everyone I reckon. Weekend after labour weekend perhaps?

We could have had a bash on the drums at the last one if we'd known they were even there.

Well, they were in another room and IIRC, we were all set up and there wouldn't have been much room for the drums anyway.Jenesis wrote:We could have had a bash on the drums at the last one if we'd known they were even there.
Anyway, I meant more like someone that actually wants to play drums all day as opposed to having a sporadic bash. I reckon it would be a pretty valid thing: how does your tone work out when playing with a proper rhythm section, blah blah blah.
