Here's another set of potentials:

'00s Strokes - Last Night
'90s Weezer - Buddy Holly
'80s AC/DC - Back in Black
'70s Zep - Rock ' Roll
'60s Kinks - You really got me
'50s Fuller - I fought the law

But I think these previously mentioned ones might be better:

'00s Seven nation army
'90s Killing in the name of
'80s Wildflower
'70s Walk this way
'60s Sunshine of your love
'50s Johnny B Goode
Rock 'n' Roll is an excellent suggestion. I still think Crossroads is worth consideration- it's quite easy to pick up even if you don't know it.

I'm sure that this thread is a good example of the social mechanics that result in NZ being accused of being behind Europe by over 10 years in many ways.
I have really noticed over the past 20 years that in NZ, that any decision involving more than one person takes much longer to make.

Urge Overkill - Sister Havana 8)

Good track to thrash out with plenty of solo slots.

Organised and prepared setlist versus everybody noodling away at the same time in an effort to "jam".
Four musicians playing four different songs at the same time is the definition of Jazz, isn't it?
NZG Jazzfest
