Auckland Gearfest anyone?
I have contacts for both Torbay halls, ie. senior cits and the main community hall. The big hall would work, tons of space and a nice quite neighborhood. Seriously though it would be fine for an afternoon session. It will not be expensive to hire, I will find out how much.

Auckland Gearfest anyone?
I'm thinking Corban estate arts centre out in Henderson might have something. I'll check it out early next week if I don't get a chance before.

[strippers] If we can get some vendors to chuck a bit of cash at us, I reckon we could.

Don't know what your budget is but I've been to a few functions here: http://www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/council ... eemans.asp
Central as, decent parking, and plenty of room.
Don't know why I'm chipping in though cos I probably wont be able to come unless you have the Auckland fest in Hamilton! (it's actually a bit of an Aucklandfest already)

Re: Auckland Gearfest anyone?
To use the correct terminology, yes. I definitely feel at home out West, seems an old Nelson bogan fits right into the Auckland westie culture. Helps that I listen to metal and drive a beat-up ute I painted with spray cans.Capt. Black wrote:This... But fixed....
